I Blooming Love Women!
I love women. They never let me down. I love female company. The way we care and support each other, how we laugh and cry and have lots of fun. My life is truly enriched as I have an army of women by my side. We Rock!!
I recently bought a painting from a pop-up African market. I decided to buy a painting but I wasn’t quite clear on which piece I wanted. The market trader tried to help me make my selection. He asked me “What kinds of things do you like?” I replied that I like women!! I was with a guy at the time, he told me later that when I said that, all the traders and everyone nearby suddenly looked at him, full of questions behind their eyes! Haha
I now have a lovely piece of art work which joins my other prints and photos of beautiful women.
This poem is dedicated to all my wonderful girlfriends and the women I admire.
Girls
Let’s badmouth our significant other
Or extol the virtues of our magnificent lover
Let’s get glammed up for a night out in town
With our fancy shoes and our fancy gowns
Let’s stay indoors and cook up a feast
A 3 meal course at the very least
Let’s drink until the bottle is dry, dry, dry
Sometimes it makes us giddy, sometimes we cry, cry, cry.
With a kiss and a cuddle and a heart full of love
We are truly special, we are our beloved
We have each other’s support
We hear our reports
Of the ups and the downs
The smiles and the frowns
Life can be lonely. Sometimes life can unfurl
But it feels so much better, when your Bestie’s a Girl!!
