Unfortunately, I don’t have an Easter poem to share!!!!! 🙁
However, this Easter Day shares its day with April 1st – April Fools Day!
April Fools is when people play practical jokes and hoaxes on their victims.
I’m not much of a prankster but I do love to laugh!!!
OH KATTY!!!
I wrote the poem I’d like to share with you just for fun! I love to make people laugh. My style of comedy is rather absurd! Oftentimes I’ve noticed that people look at me and wonder “Oh Katty – what are you like???”
It gives me the greatest joy!!
Oh Katty
Katty does a little wiggle
No-one knows what for
But it gets a little laugh
So Katty wiggles more
She’s now doing impressions
They’re not terribly good
But there seems to be no end
Do we laugh? I think we should?
She starts to tell a joke
Where’s it going? We’re not always sure
At least she finds it funny
Now she’s rolling on the floor
She’s dancing, singing, grinning
Hyped up to fever pitch
Can we turn her back to factory settings?
There seems to be a glitch
She’s zany & she’s wild
We never know what’s in store
She said she used to be a donkey
But she’s not anymoooorrreeee!!!!
Oh Katty – never stop your antics
Your playfulness and cheer
You’re as silly as a sausage
Our funny woman of the year!!!
