I'm Happy, Happy, Happy, Until I'm Not!

I’m usually very happy and people regularly comment on my wonderful smile and cheerful disposition.

During some of my dark days, I was always surprised when people still remarked that I was “the happiest person” they knew.  Perhaps I used my smile to mask my true feelings!

The idea of positivity and appearing happy and positive whilst going through a crisis inspired the poem I would like to share today, “I Am Positive”

I Am Positive

 

I’m Little Miss Sunshine

I possess a positive outlook in life.

 

I’m positively happy

I’m positively radiant

I’m positively attractive

I’m positively content.

 

I’m positively smiley

I’m positively fond of you

I’m positively optimistic

I’m positively a flower of every hue.

 

I’m positively crazy

I’m positively wild

I’m positively nuts

I’m positively still a child.

 

I’m positively stubborn

I’m positively headstrong

I’m positively hard of hearing

I’m positively wrong.

 

I’m positively lost

I’m positively alone

I’m positively blind

I’m positively far from home.

 

I’m positively agitated

I’m positively stressed

I’m positively disturbed

I’m positively not my best.

 

I’m positively in a crisis

I’m positively out of my mind

I’m positively losing reason

I’m positively trapped in a bind.

 

I’m positively hurt

I’m positively weak

I’m positively at the edge

I’m positively not prepared to speak.

 

I’m positively violent

I’m positively misunderstood

I’m positively exhauseted

I’m positively far from good.

 

I’m positively faking

I’m positively upset

I’m positively lying

I’m positively reset.
