I am truly blessed with the fabulous people in my life.  One of my most beloved and treasured friends is the formidable, Vinette Hoffman Jackson.  She has several strings to her bow, including: Motivational Speaker, World Speaking Champion of Toastmasters International District 71, UK & Ireland 2017 – 2018.  Author of “Did the right sperm win?”, a collection of inspiring short stories.  A poetry collection soon to be released along with another inspirational story collection book.

Now, I see you everywhere I go.

Now I hear about this new woman some other guy did find

It’s heart breaking when I realise, that you were once mine

 

Oh, if I could just see your face lying next to me

I’d spend my life being the man you always wanted me to be

I’d buy you flowers, run my fingers through your hair

Wipe away every hurt and every fallen tear

Now that I know and I can comprehend

I would be your rock, your closest friend
